　岡山では8月15日の夕刻、41.0ミリの激しい雷雨があり、雨が上がったあとは東の空にうっすらと虹が見えていた。写真上は、理学部上空の虹と黒正巌先生像。写真下は、文学部中庭から眺める虹。なお、時計台にかかる虹と雨上がりの風景写真は8月15日付けの楽天版にあり。

【思ったこと】

　8月10日の日記に引用したように、

の26頁以降には恣意的に適用可能な関係反応についての詳しい説明がある。前段で般化模倣に関連して、「abstraction」という用語（Catania, 1998）に言及されているが、恣意的に適用可能な関係反応の場合は、
Arbitrarily applicable relational responding seems to represent a similar form abstraction, but in this case the pattern of responding among a set of stimuli is abstracted and brought under the control of an arbitrary contextual cue.
．．．刺激間の反応は、恣意的に設定された手がかりのもとで抽象化されパターン化される
という特徴をもつ。このことに関連した実験研究としては、

　こうした抽象化がなされるためには、文脈的手がかりに基づく課題と、物理的な特性に基づく課題を弁別するための訓練が必要である。幼児に対する言語訓練では、そうした意図の有無にかかわらずそのようなプロセスが導入されている。
