【思ったこと】
160706（水）トールネケ『関係フレーム理論(RFT)をまなぶ』(62)派生的関係反応(34)文脈が持つ2つの側面が関係フレームづけを支配する(2)

　昨日取り上げた、
  • Ｃrel：ある時点で刺激間にどの関係が確立されるかを支配する文脈手がかり
  • Ｃfunc：この関係に基づいてどの機能が選択されるのかを支配する文脈手がかり
という表現は、もともとは、

Hayes, S. C., Fox, E., Gifford, E. V., Wilson, K. G., Barnes-Holmes, D., & Healy, O. (2001). Derived relational responding as learned behavior. In S. C. Hayes, D. Barnes-Holmes, & B. に登場する公式であるが、私の知る限りでは、ACTの入門書などではあまり言及されていないように思われる。また上記の章を含むこの本(Hayes et al., 2001)は、書籍タイトルからみて、RFTの最も基本となる「聖典」の1つではないかと思われるのだが、私の知る限り、翻訳書は出ていない。
  • レベルの高い理論的な内容が中心で読者数が少数であるため翻訳書を刊行しても採算がとれないためか、
  • その内容を理解できるレベルの研究者であればわざわざ翻訳書に頼らず直接英文で読むことができる（よって翻訳書は購入しない）と予想されるため
のいずれかではないかと思ってみたりする。

　余談だが上記の共著者のお一人、Eric J. Fox 先生によるtutorial（Basic Accessは無料）教材がこちらにある。音声、テストつきとなっており分かりやすいが、詳しく学ぶ場合は有料となる。

　元の話題に戻るが、上記のRFTの本(Hayes et al., 2001)の第２章では、相互的内包は、

Ｃrel｛ＡｒxＢ|||ＢｒyＡ｝

というように表される。ここで、
  • Ｃrel symbolizes a context in which a history of a particular kind of responding is brought to bear on the current siluation
  • "ｒ" stands for a relation brought to bear
  • the subscripts "x" and"y" stand for the specific types of relations involved
  • "Ａ" and "Ｂ" stand for the events in the current context that are included in the overall relational response pattern
  • "|||" is a symbol for entailment.
という意味で使用されている。

　もっとも上掲の本(Hayes et al., 2001)の他の章、あるいは他のRFT解説書でこの公式に言及した文献は、私の知る限りでは殆ど見当たらない。このことに関しては、
These terms provide some precision in retining the concept of arbitrarily applicable relational responding. (The formulae themselves are not critical to an understanding of RFT, and thus they will be used rarely in subsequent chapters of the book. However, some individual terms, such as Ｃrel, will be used quite frequently in freestanding form). Specifically，if an arbitrarily applicable relational response is occurring, then a response to B in terms of A as part of an "rx" response, entails a response to A in terms of B are two aspects of the relational operant.【30頁】
というように、公式全体は滅多に登場しないが、Ｃrelは単独で頻繁に使用されると記されていた。

　ちなみに、複合的相互的内包【Hayes et al.(2001)では「相互的」が省略され「Combinational Entailment」】は、

Ｃrel｛ＡｒxＢ and Ｂｒy Ｃ|||ＡｒpＣ and ＣｒqＡ｝

というように表記される。

　さらに、刺激機能の変換の場合は、

Ｃfunc［ＣrelＡｒxＢ and Ｂｒy Ｃ｛Ａｆ1|||Ｂｆ2ｒp and Ｃｆ3ｒq｝］

となる。
